Oxford Interfaith Walk

This evening starting at the Oxford synagogue there was an interfaith walk where pete, hossein and i went to participate. I ended up carrying the banner at the front of the walkers which meant i had the chance to chat with a couple of the faith leaders of Oxford, particularly the Bishop of Oxford, who asked some questions about the Bahai Faith. We ended up at the Mosque on Cowley Road, where there was a little food and some conversations with people i hadnt met before. In the Bahai Faith, we are encouraged to ‘consort with all people in a spirit of love and fellowship’.

Last night was the 19 day feast(19 day regular gathering for Bahai community members) and i attended the feast for south oxfordshire held in Wallingford.
