Brian Almond started the initiative and was mentor and overall organiser for day to day things. Omid Behi and Shirin were there. We were blessed to have Farhad Shahbahrami, Counsellor Craig, ABM Kay Hughes, ABM Azar Melville and husband Tim and daughter there for some long stays. Pete Baldwin came up near the end. Bangor Youth Summer Project 13 Aug

Dear Friends
Yesterday, August 13th, i left the house at number 48 to have my chinese lesson online and on the way came across a new acquaintance that(who is half Chinese) on the way to Brians apartment. After the Chinese lesson i returned to the shared house and Kalim, Tom, Sam, Omid and Rayyan were getting up to get ready. After breakfast and washing we had a morning of consultations on who we had met and how we could systematically develop our teaching. I went and said hello and chatted to a new British Born Chinese friend, Kessie, in Bangor around lunchtime, and hello to Steven from Malaysia who works at another Chinese restaurant and then went back and i think we said some prayers togethor. Back at the house we had a brief consultation about my walking and taking the bus everywhere rather than going by car. Tom, Sam and Omid went and played snooker for a little bit and the rest went to check email and make phone calls back at Brians. In the afternoon we went to visit a friends house in Menai Bridge, Judith, where we chatted, said some prayers had some biscuits and some blackberries that were picked from the roadside(they are in season at the moment!) After that we returned to the house(ive found the buses very efficient here) and then on my way back to the house came across a Chinese student living nearby and the as i was chatting Brian drove past and mentioned that there were some more Chinese students across the road. Back at number 48 there was a devotional,Tom prepared some soup with Rayyan and i assisting, and then Alice arrived and so i went and chatted with the Chinese students for a while in their house(i was able to say a prayer) and give a Bahai book in Chinese(separately with the students on both sides of the road). The devotional at #48 had continued, Tom played and sang a prayer with the guitar and Zak and 2ladies were also there. We played an animal game and everyone was singing whenI left to come and do the blog and say goodbye to Kessie and sleep at Brians.
With loving Baha’i greetings

Dear Friends
Today, Sunday, (which was actually a couple of days ago now) i think we said a lot of paryers in the morning, then had a Unity Gathering at the noodle bar, where we had some healthy snacks, carrots and celery and nachos and said some prayers. Tom, Sam, Omid, Habib went to play football with some students, i walked to go and play, but didnt feel like it at the time. Then in the afternoon we went back to the house and i went and met some new, mostly Chinese, acquaintances/friends/brot

hers and then in the evening we had a BBQ at Brians, played a little football, i tried to help a pigeon with a broken leg :) and then said a couple of Arabic prayers with DrRamadan and his wife who are friends of Brians, in the room. Then went back to the house at number 48.
